Cambridgeshire Resin Project
This resin installations incorporated many elements of a resin job that you could wish for as it was a driveway relocation, and path installation. For the customer we completed:

Resin pathway to front door.
4-car resin driveway.
The customer had a new build property which came with a plot of land than ran down the side of the house, with the driveway being connected to their garage which was the other side of the garden fence. As part of the quote we were required to create an entirely new layout which included a full dig to the parameter allowing us the depth to apply the layers required when completing the resin driveway. In order to install a driveway we called upon the services of R & R plant to fit our drop curb which allowed us to then work out the natural run off for the driveway so that we could lay the new resin driveway at a natural sloping gradient that didn't cause disruption to the car arriving arriving on the driveway.
Prep work for the four car resin driveway
Full dig out and muck away. We had to dig out 200mm to ensure we had the right amount of clearance to apply 150mm amount of hardcore, 30mm of VubaMac (baselayer) as well as 18mm worth of finish layer resin.
Each base layer is whacked and packed tightly to ensure the levels are maintained whilst also reducing the amount of movement over time. By applying multiple layers this will allow for heavy vehicle to park on the driveway and prevent any sinking or warping in the surface overtime.
Resin pathway to the front door.
In order to ensure the driveway could still flow through to the front door we also installed a resin pathway to lead from the public footpath down to the front door, as well as from the driveway to the front door meaning that we had to ensure the levels were spot on. With resin pathways being 100% permeable, it allows you to run close to the house without fear of pooling water or splashing against your brickwork.
